Program
Forsvarskonferansen – Nordic Defence and Security Conference will be held over two days, September 22–23, at Scandic Hell, Stjørdal. The program and speakers will be announced continuously in the lead-up to the conference. There will also be side events, follow-on events, and related activities.
Together with the Baltic states, the Nordic countries form NATO’s northern flank. This creates an operational and societal community that can represent a formidable strength, both militarily and civilian, if we are able to take the right actions.
The experiences from Ukraine after more than four years of war may provide valuable input for identifying the right measures. Combat power, will to defend, societal resilience, and the pace of innovation are key themes.
What is being done today, and what should we do? What are the right measures? How do we build a stronger Nordic community? What is NATO’s perspective, and what steps is the Armed Forces taking? How can we strengthen the link between industry and the Armed Forces, and how can we create value while also strengthening our society?
These are the questions we will address at Forsvarskonferansen – Nordic Defence and Security Conference. We will do so by combining high-level speakers, relevant side events, by creating a strong networking arena, and not least by profiling the segment of industry that can play a decisive role in operational capability and preparedness.
